“El cuerpo de la letra” is a dance/performance piece that tells the story of resistance of two MIR militants who were
fighting clandestinely against the military dictatorship in Chile. Based on real events, the “Cuerpo de la Letra” uses
documents and oral testimonies to narrate life in hiding and the murder of Fernando Vergara at the hands of
Pinochet’s political police, which occurred on December 15, 1985 in Santiago, Chile.
