Jeniffer is from the Philippines. She came to Singapore in search of work opportunities and fleeing a bad marriage.
In Singapore she had to endure the so called “induction” by which, they cannot leave the house where they work for six
months, they do not have access to telephone and they do not have their passport. She says that if you survive that, you
become strong in Singapore.
